You can start a thread on Criteria, Functions, definitions, vocabulary, etc. Concerning Instructional Theory presented by Hosford. Remember 1 original post comment on 2 peoples posts.
That was a lot of information! I was confused with all of the diagrams. It was my first time going through the slides, so if a go through it a couple of more times maybe I can get everything into my head.
Wow! Most of what was on the slides went right over my head-the charts and equations really confused me! Who wrote this? There were many errors in this slideshow!
I did love how one of the last slides spoke about how teachers have the purpose to make children better thinkers and doers. Children need to do it and relate the curriculum to real life experience in order to really learn new information.
I liked how they defined teaching as giving assistance, or acting as a guide to learning.
I am going to make my original post on the importance of an educational theory.
